De La Soul - Eye Know

One of the classics,

Greetings girl and welcome to my world :)

Greetings, girl, and welcome to my world of phrase
I'm right up to bat
It's a Daisy Age and you're about to walk top-stage
So wipe your Lottos on the mat
Hip-hop love this is and don't mind when I quiz your
Involvements before the sun
But clear your court 'cause this is a one-man sport
And who's better for this than Plug One
Now you don't have to worry about me squashin' other deals
'Cause they've already been squooshed
Freeze a frame about moods the same which we can continue
Right behind the bush
You'll stay with me
Eye Know this
But not because of all my earthly treasures
Or regardless to the fact that I'm Posdnuos
But because

(Eye know Eye love you better)

DOVE:
May I cut this dance to introduce myself as
The chosen one to speak
Let me lay my hand across yours
And aim a kiss upon your cheek
They name's Plug Two
And from the soul I bring you
The Daisy of your choice
May it be filled with the pleasure principle
In circumference to my voice
About those other Jennys I reckoned with
Lost them all like a homework excuse
This time the Magic Number is two
'Cause it takes two, not three, to seduce
My destiny of love is brought to an apex
Sex is a mere molecule
In this world of love that I have for you
It's true

(Eye know Eye love you better)

POS:
Now it's time to let this rhyme style
Get somewhat poured in the mold
Take my hand and we'll pick my plantation
Of Daisies for a bouquet of Soul
Life will begin at the cut of a rim
Take it as filled to the rim as in brim
Squeeze your stoop like Betty Boop
We'll make Campbell's Alphabet Soup
And spell Plug One's within
Forward march is the say
When transistors will play
Come into bed is the mood
Dolby sound will be then top crowned
When I put the needle into your groove
I got a good thing
And in full swing
I show this in gifts, words or letters
But even without those three
Eye know you'll be close to me 'cause

(Eye know I love you better)

DOVE:
It's I again and the song that I send
Is taking steps to reach your heart
Any moment you feel alone
I can fill up your empty part
We can ascend 'till we reach De La Heaven
And in a spin we'll hit the Top Ten
Then we will meet Mr Stuckie
And Pos' brother Lucky will preach
Let the wedding begin
Shot by an arrow of cupid
Through the string of a G-clef
My dear, I claim you're def
And if you can hear me, by golly gee,
Trugoy is ready for what you posess
We could live in my Plug Two home
And on Mars where we could be all alone
And we make a song for two,
Picture perfect things and I sing of how

(Eye know I love you better)

Sampled from Steely Dan's song, Peg

Ronald Jenkees - The Big Tease

Ronald Jenkees is an interesting fellow. This musical guru has a mysterious identity which has been questioned by many critics. Whether or not he is whom he claims, this guy can make music. Here is one of my favorite tracks by Ronald.

I titled this post "The Big Tease" because he's been posting snippets from his new album over the last few months and I honestly just wish he'd release it already!

Early Morning May (part 2) by ronaldjenkees

Another tease

RJCD3: Sidetracked by ronaldjenkees

Anywho... Whenever his next track finally does drop, I'll likely post it here asap!

Talib Kweli- Ms. Hill

Another night, slips away (phone ringing)
in other words, (yo, who's this?) I should say
there are no words, (y'all heard it) you should say
there are no words, (I mean it's life)
every night, slips away (I mean, what can I say? it's best)
in other words, I should say
there are no words, you should say
there are no words

Ms. Hill got skills, that's a gift, it's real
get ill, What you spit got the power to uplift a hill

I wish I could talk to Lauryn
I mean excuse me, Ms. Hill
and let her know how much we love her its real
the industry was beating her up
then those demons started eating her up
she need a savior that'll bleed in a cup, yup
we used to kick it in the solid days
when she look at me like she dont know me when she see me nowadays
I nod, she nod back, that's how it stay
her songs still better than anything out
that "Hot" or "Power" play
remember how they accused her of saying
she did her album without help
then she went to Rome to sing
and tell the Pope about himself
just after she left the Fugees
started rolling with the Marleys
got back with the crew at Dave Chapelle's Block Party
she made songs about Zion
and trying to be faithful
took Blackstar on tour in Europe
I was so grateful
speaking for myself but I'm sure I could speak for Dante
I got to watch a show with Nina Simone and Harry Belafonte
we used to chill at Nkiru, her moms was a customer
she used to love to buy the books by Octavia Butler
Parable of the Sower, the main character's name was Lauren
what the album did for black girls' self-esteem was so important
I got concerned when she got sick on the road
she ain't heavy, I'm her brother
and I wish that I could pick up the load, but no

another night, slips away
in other words, I should say
there are no words, you should say
there are no words
another night slips away
in other words, I should say
there are no words, you should say
there are no words
Ms. Hill got skills, that's a gift, it's real
get ill, what you spit got the power to uplift a hill

got her assistant on the the phone
"I need to talk to Lauryn"
and I wanna walk through the storm, and I could be the umbrella
when the rain is pouring
please, this no disrespect to whoever your man is though
this relationship is strictly music like D'angelo
I know you hate Babylon, and wanna see it fall
but they won't let you read your poem at the BET awards
you give us hope, you give us faith, you the one
they don't like what you got to say
but still they beg you to come, whoa
now that's powerful sis, it's black power
we get money, keep our eyes on the final hour
and no I ain't saying you Christ, that would be sacriligous right?
but you can blow and you nice, sisters them raps is vicious
the raps the sisters recite with their black fist up
the devil's last wish is a queen that rise past bitches
we used to read Francis Crest or anything
by Third World Press impressed
but what the power of the word suggest
hatched ideas in our heads like birds in the nest
you gave birth to a new sound like Donda West, yes
should I be saying all of this while the mic is on?
I might as well let it out because one day I might be gone
I write this song and hope you feel how much we love you
and you play it, cause I really ain't got the words to say it
but yo

another night, slips away
in other words, I should say
there are no words, you should say
there are no words
another night slips away
in other words, I should say
there are no words, you should say
there are no words
Ms. Hill got skills, that's a gift, it's real
get ill, what you spit got the power to uplift a hill

Lykke Li - I Follow Rivers (The Oos & Ahhs Remix)

I don't know whether to call this one a banger or chill... Is that even possible? Maybe it's because I'm a sucker for good synths. This is one of those songs which I downloaded and found myself returning to maybe 10 plus times over the weekend. You're gonna wanna crank this one way up. :)

If you end up liking this track, give her a download.

Mood - Karma

Two hip hop posts today. Both have a darker feel imo.

[Main Flo]
I had to stay mental, when DEA stopped my gray rental
Incidental, my girl home watchin Jay Leno
Prophecize, I pulled the wise
Wit frame eyes for disguise, talkin like them white guys
Shallow demeanor, karma was the main schemer
What could be greener, when all I thought about was Beemers
Then came the questioning
Arrestin me was steppin rare
Askin permission so he could say he kept it fair
Fake mustaches and hundred yard dashes
Through lake molasses because my government's so facist
Don't choose to ass-kiss dolo spots
I did the massacus on all areas, harassless
Don't wanna do enough confront a cew
That night I got two, went to sleep, woke up wit guns drew
No time for cryin cowards
Too late for fire power
Karma convinced me to leave him at his dying hour

[Chorus] 2x
Now leading back to that night
Reality strikes
Them unknown faces are the casualty types

[Donte]
When you watch yo' nigga rise and disguise
You despise cuz I built an enterprise
While you still livin lies
And I'm all you wanna be, but that's all you gonna be
Get your long path and yo' ass from in front of me
Niggas thought you had my back and you was stealin out my pack
When other niggas try to tell me "I wasn't even feelin that"
That's my ace, that nigga got keys to my place
And he know about the cash, stashed G's in the safe
Wait, no time to waste when best friends player-hate
Relocate, can't sleep, now I gotta stay awake
And take a still break, cuz I be dealin wit this ill fate
When niggas be fake, infiltrate and try to and steal weight

"The way I vex, will cause an insane karma" [Del] 2x

[Main Flo]
All up on the humble
Fuckin wit fake niggas that know I bubble
Precise juggle, cuz life is my type of struggle
Seven-fifty IL's, and tales of fly females
Who caught in these sales wit live details
Shades by Cartier, and big links that hardly play
It could be Auste, let's do this in a large way
I wanna see the Amazon basing
To set out to gather my thoughts into a calm basement

[Donte]
Man ain't nuttin change, niggas don't know what they facin
Already steady pacin, they seeds to be replacements
We ain't the felon type
Or into sellin white
Cuz everything money bring, children of the malonites
I'm Bob's song, provin Ja live, not gone
To pay a devil on a loan, got to rob yo' own
No love wit no peace, gave life to the beast
As the defecit increase, Exodus outta Greece
This note is legal tender, depths connect, render
Evil spender, people mentors resurrect to evil vendor now

Chorus 2x

"The way I vex will cause an insane karma" 4x

Deltron 3030-Mastermind

Who fuses the music
With no illusions
Producing the blue prints
Clueless?
Automator defy the laws of nature
Electronic monolith throw a jam upon the disc
The futuristic looper with the quickness
Hyper producing, hydrogen fusion liquids keep your distance

First we coerce your brain patterns
Collaborate with time consume and reprogram it
I apply the flow cannon
The combo so slammin'
Atomically reconstruct the old canvas
His logic impress
A hypnotic effect
Ya latent patent you could call it a gift
Man he all in the mix nuclear physicist
Genetically tailored every bit of this stimulus

the day the walls of the cities
will crumble away
uncovering our naked souls
all start singing
shouting
screaming

Psyonically bionically forget how you feel
Especially formulated the rest of you fornicated
It takes more to make this
He juggles variables
Unparalleled propulsion to carry the load
Neural surgeon the purest virgin conducting currents
Musical Merlin he shines like sterling
Watch the Automator draw laser of a higher intensity
And instantly miss a beat create a symphony

Hey I know now
repeat
automator's on the planet earth
and he's gonna stop the war of the worlds
(now how will he do that)
Deltron Zero is here as well to put it together for real
(that's pretty good man)
Yeah, he told y'all, he would do as he is truly gifted in the matters of rhythm
(Ya I'll give him that)
Ya you got to give him dap
With his infinite wisdom you know you got to get with him

Macklemore - Wings Official Video

Never thought I'd be posting this much Macklemore. However his new video for "Wings" was released today.

The song is actually less about basketball and more of a commentary on consumerism and identity.

I've always liked Macklemore, but sometimes his videos push the edge of corny. His other popular video "The Town" that I posted earlier does the same. However, while pushing it close, I don't think either quite fall off the edge into the tacky abyss.

I was seven years old, when I got my first pair
And I stepped outside
And I was like, Momma, this air bubble right here, it’s gonna make me fly
I hit that court, and when I jumped, I jumped, I swear I got so high
I touched the net, Mom I touched the net, this is the best day of my life
Air Max’s were next,
That air bubble, that mesh
The box, the smell, the stuffin, the tread, in school
I was so cool
I knew that I couldn’t crease ‘em
My friends couldn’t afford ‘em
Four stripes, some Air-didas
On the court I wasn’t the best, but my kicks were like the pros
Yo, I stick out my tongue so everyone could see that logo
Nike Air Flight, but bad was so dope
And then my friend Carlos’ brother got murdered for his fours, whoa
See he just wanted a jump shot, but they wanted to start a cult though
Didn’t wanna get caught, from Genesee Park to Othello
You could clown for those Probings, with the velcro
Those were not tight
I was trying to fly without leaving the ground, cuz I wanted to be like Mike, right
Wanted to be him
I wanted to be that guy, I wanted to touch the rim
I wanted to be cool, and I wanted to fit in
I wanted what he had, America, it begins

Chorus:
I want to fly
Can you take me far away
Give me a star to reach for
Tell me what it takes
And I’ll go so high
I’ll go so high
My feet won’t touch the ground
Stitch my wings
And pull the strings
I bought these dreams
That all fall down

We want what we can’t have, commodity makes us want it
So expensive, damn, I just got to flaunt it
Got to show ‘em, so exclusive, this that new shit
A hundred dollars for a pair of shoes I would never hoop in
Look at me, look at me, I’m a cool kid
I’m an individual, yea, but I’m part of a movement
My movement told me be a consumer and I consumed it
They told me to just do it, I listened to what that swoosh said
Look at what that swoosh did
See it consumed my thoughts
Are you stupid, don’t crease ‘em, just leave ‘em in that box
Strangled by these laces, laces I can barely talk
That’s my air bubble and I’m lost, if it pops
We are what we wear, we wear what we are
But see I look inside the mirror and think Phil Knight tricked us all
Will I stand for change, or stay in my box
These Nikes help me define me, and I’m trying to take mine, off

Chorus:
I want to fly
Can you take me far away
Give me a star to reach for
Tell me what it takes
And I’ll go so high
I’ll go so high
My feet won’t touch the ground
Stitch my wings
And pull the strings
I bought these dreams
That all fall down

They started out, with what I wear to school
That first day, like these are what make you cool
And this pair, this would be my parachute
So much more than just a pair of shoes
Nah, this is what I am
What I wore, this is the source of my youth
This dream that they sold to you
For a hundred dollars and some change
Consumption is in the veins
And now I see it’s just another pair of shoes

Pretty Lights - High School Art Class

Glancing over my blog this morning I came to the realization I had almost no Pretty Lights! Tragic.

Pretty Lights alter and real ego, Derek Smith, is an electronic producer/artist from Colorado. Smith's music is the product of digital sampling and crosses many genres, forming a combination of "glitchy hip-hop beats, buzzing synth lines, and vintage funk and soul samples, sometimes grime." Pretty Lights' sound is generated by synthesizing samples and organic beats using the monome and the Akai MPD32. Smith uses these digital controllers to program the music production software Ableton Live 8.

*Soon I will be gone from the
Trouble of this world
Trouble of this world
Trouble of this world

I'll be the first to admit Pretty Lights has had to kind of grow on me. But if you give it a chance you may end up really like some of his stuff :)

Oh and you can download all of his work for FREE. Click here.

Macklemore - The Town

"First memories of Seattle Hip Hop"
"I remember the Sit 'N Spin"
"Listening to Rap Attack, listening to Nasty Nes on Rap Attack"
"Silver Shadow D, B-Mello"
"That Do the Math, just hit me in my dome"
"The Poetry Experience, that's where I really started writing"
"...was RKCNDY"
"Many ciphers, many battles, many sidewalks"
"Held underground parties in Langston Hughes Township"

Now when I say 2-0, you say
Nah, you know the rest,
This is our scene
our music, our movement, the history lives through us
I write to the beat and let life play the guitar strings
Despite the drama, there's respect and camaraderie
Every time one of my friends is mentioned in my philosophy
It's a rite of passage, I'm not trying to be corny
I got love for Sportn' Life, Alpha P, Massline, and Onry
Every time somebody steps out on the road
They bring a little Northwest soul with them, amen
Alright then, just so you know
I try to carry that everytime that I rock a show
So, turn my sound up
Ricochet off our mountain
It's Good Medicine that Chief Sealth would of been proud of
This is our city, town pride, heart, blood, sweat, tears, I-5, North, South side, vibe, live, ride down these city blocks
And never will be stopped
They tryin' to shut down the clubs that my city rocks
Now Mr. Mayor why would you enforce an ordinance?
Music it saves lives, these kids out here are supporting it
And through the art form we've learned the importance of community
Truth to the youth so they know what's up
Yup, and as a public school student
I learned from my teachers, but became through my music
Take that away, that's a vital
14 Fathoms Deep, Do the Math, Tribal
My greatest teachers: Beasope and Bida
Wordsayer was my mayor and things have changed
But I carry the torch and what I do with that flame
Is lit everytime that I step on the stage
The skyline is etched in my veins
You can never put that out, no matter how hard it rains

"Northwest, making you feel the vibe"
"check how Seattle do"
"coming to my side"
"I mean I like how y'all do (thank you) but we on to new—"
"Put it down for the town"
"With music"
"making you feel the vibe"
"check how Seattle do"
"coming to my side"
"when my peeps know my crew bring the flame"
"Put it down for the town"
"Wearing that Seattle blue"

That's right, when you put on a show
And watch the people seat in between the creases and the doors
Hitting the melly or sneaking in 'cause they're broke
Now leaving in between sets because a needing to smoke
The reason being whatever
The scene from Beacon to Everett
is in need of less ego when we kick it alright
I get on stage, style, share my whole life
Try to reach 'em at the bar where they're drinking Miller Lite
But the kids in the front, they bring out the passion, dude
Make noise throughout the show and not only when we ask 'em to
I watch the older cats jaded in the back
Hands clasped, forgot when they weren't too cool to be a fan, damn
Hatin' at the concert
You don't remember RKCNDY, watching Heiro, or vibing out to Alkaholiks
I know it's not the same, it never will be
But my, my, my, my city's filthy
And we've been truly dope since Supreme was up on Broadway in the dookie rope
Mean muggin' in Sir Mixalot's video
Back when Scene was rockin' house parties on the floor
JMG's, Sit N' Spin, and The Paradox
Back when Market introduced Geo to Sabz
So much has changed here, so much has not
I was just a kid hopin' I could earn my spot
Try to get some props
Meet a promoter who'll give me a shot
To let me get up on stage and get the crowd to rock
Read a page out my notebook
What I thought would be respected, they would connect with it
Now looking over the city's the only thing that keeps me calm
Scattered thoughts jotted down by this pen in my palm
It's like my city stands still, the world looks on
If I could only capture its beauty and put it in a song

"Northwest, making you feel the vibe"
"check how Seattle do"
"coming to my side"
"I mean I like how y'all do (thank you) but we on to new—"
"Put it down for the town"
"With music"
"making you feel the vibe"
"check how Seattle do"
"coming to my side"
"when my peeps know my crew bring the flame"
"Put it down for the town"
"Wearing that Seattle blue"

Solid Gold - Who You Gonna Run To?

I don't think it's right.
Lettin' love ruin my life
But i don't think it's wrong
Gettin' a little revenge in a song
It hurts, don't lie...

(Chorus)
Who you gonna run to?
Who you gonna run to now?
You know i would have died for you
But it wasn't like you loved me anyhow
You know i'm right, you know i'm right

Baby, i've been wrong
And maybe i've been livin a little headstrong
But i know it isn't right
Startin' a war by avoiding a fight
It hurts, don't lie...

(Chorus)
Who you gonna run to?
Who you gonna run to now?
You know i would have died for you
But it wasn't like you loved me anyhow

You know i'm right, you know i'm right
(you know i'm right)

[Sample Friday] Nas - The Message & Sting - Shape of My Heart

One of my favorite hip hop songs of all time. Nas - The Message.

It was released during the feud between the East and West Coast. West Coast rapper 2Pac viewed the first lyrics of the song "Fake thug, no love, you get the slug, CB4 gusto, your luck low, I didn't know till I was drunk though" as a subliminal diss and responded in two songs from his last album whilst alive, The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory: "Bomb First" and "Against All Odds". Although the two rappers purportedly reconciled before 2Pac's death, 2Pac was never able to edit the lyrics against Nas due to his murder.

Nas has confirmed that the song actually disses The Notorious B.I.G. with the lines, "There's one life, one love, so there can only be one King."[1] While the quote "there can only be one king" is attributed to Pablo Escobar, a role model of Nas, this lyric challenged Notorious B.I.G.'s title of King of New York at that the time of its release. He responded on the track "Kick in the Door" from his 1997 album Life After Death.[wikipedia]

Fake thug, no love, you get the slug, CB4 Gusto
Your luck low, I didn't know til I was drunk though
You freak niggaz played out, get fucked and ate out
Prostitute turned bitch, I got the gauge out
96 ways I made out, Montana way
The Good-F-E-L-L-A, verbal AK spray
Dipped attache, jumped out the Range, empty out the ashtray
A glass of 'ze make a man Cassius Clay
Red dot plots, murder schemes, thirty-two shotguns
Regulate wit my Dunn's, 17 rocks gleam from one ring
Yo let me let y'all niggaz know one thing
There's one life, one love, so there can only be one King
The highlights of livin, Vegas style roll dice in linen
Antera spinnin on Milleniums, twenty G bets I'm winnin them
Threats I'm sendin them, Lex with TV sets the minimum
Ill sex adrenaline
Party with villians, a case of Demi-Sec to chase the Henny
Wet any clique, with the semi-tech who want it
Diamonds I flaunt it, chickenheads flock I lace em
Fried broiled with basil, taste em, crack the legs
way out of formation, it's horizontal how I have em
fuckin me in the Benz wagon
Can it be Vanity from Last Dragon
Grab your gun it's on though
Shit is grimy, real niggaz buck in broad daylight
with the broke Mac it won't spray right
Don't give a fuck who they hit, as long as the drama's lit
Yo, overnight thugs, bug cause they ain't promised shit
Hungry-ass hooligans stay on that piranha shit

[Chorus: samples from "New York State of Mind" (repeat 4X)]

"I never sleep, cause sleep is the cousin of death" -> [Nas]
"I ain't the type of brother made for you to start testin" -> [Nas]

[Nas]
I peeped you frontin, I was in the Jeep
Sunk in the seat, tinted with heat, beats bumpin
Across the streat you was wildin
Talkin bout how you ran the Island in eighty-nine
Layin up, playin the yard with crazy shine
I cocked a baby 9 that nigga grave be mine, clanked him
What was he thinkin on my corner when it's pay me time
Dug em you owe me cousin somethin told me plug him
So dumb, felt my leg burn, then it got numb
Spun around and shot one, heard shots and dropped son
Caught a hot one, somebody take this biscuit 'fore the cops come
Then they came askin me my name, what the fuck
I got stitched up and went through
Left the hospital that same night, what
Got my gat back, time to backtrack
I had to drop so how the fuck I get clapped
Black was in the Jeep watchin all these scenes speed by
It was a brown Datsun, and yo nobody in my hood got one
That clown nigga's through, blazin at his crew daily
The 'Bridge touched me up severely hear me?
So when I rhyme it's sincerely yours
Be lightin L's sippin Coors, on all floors in project halls
Contemplatin war niggaz I was cool with before
We used to score together, Uptown coppin the raw
But uhh, a thug changes, and love changes
and best friends become strangers, word up

[Chorus: first from "New York State of Mind", then "Halftime" (repeat 4X)]

"Y'all know my steelo" -> [Nas]
"There ain't an army that could strike back" -> [Nas]

[Nas]
Thug niggaz
Yo, to them thug niggaz gettin it on in the world you know?
To them niggaz that's locked down
doin they thing survivin yaknowmsayin?
To my thorough niggaz, New York and world wide
Yo to the Queensbridge Militia
9-6 shit.. The Firm clique, Illmatic nigga
It Was Written though
It's been a long time comin
Y'all fake niggaz, tryin to copy
better come with the real though
Fake ass niggaz yo..
(They throw us slugs we throwin em back, what?)
Bring the shit man, live man
(Fuck that son)
Nine-six shit..

Which was sampled from another great song... Sting - Shape of My Heart [which Dominic Miller assisted to write]

Gorillaz - "Crystalised" (The xx Cover) & Melancholy Hill

I was originally just going to post this cover, however I remembered how much I love this other track, "Melancholy Hill."

mel·an·chol·y/ˈmelənˌkälē/
Adjective: Sad, gloomy, or depressed.
Noun: A deep, pensive, and long-lasting sadness.

Up on melancholy hill
There's a plastic tree
Are you here with me?
Just looking out on the day
Of another dream

Well you can't get what you want
But you can get me
So let's set up and see
'Cause you are my medicine
When you're close to me
When you're close to me

So call in the submarine
'round the world we'll go
Does anybody know
If we're looking out on the day
Of another dream?

If you can't get what you want
Then you come with me

Up on melancholy hill
A manatee?
Just looking out on the day
When you're close to me
When you're close to me

When you're close to me

The Sol.illaquists of Sound are a unique hip hop group of 4 unassuming members. I don't love everything that they put out, but they definitely have some songs that you can bump in the car. Enjoy :D

VERSE 1 (Swamburger)
I know this group right, they the true type, the ones who give love regardless of a duke fight. They don’t complain a lot, they don’t hassle. If it wasn’t for you they wouldn’t battle. They’d take a bullet in a minute if they had to. Always had a plus for bad news. Rush to flush a pair of unkind foes with unforgettable math. You’d consider it pass you, either that or laugh through the facts due to this group I speak of. If you though it was us were flattered but, talking bout ourselves just feed buzz… well, first im’a tell you who the group was. There was 5 born from the word of mouth then grew to 500, passing on traits of great tapes to 5000. Some call em fans or the crowd… if you’re listening that group is you now. I used to imitate the group, still visit quit a few even when I got nothing new to say. Who are they? I’m with them and they with me… extended hand to the fan, you family.

HOOK (DiViNCi):
You might just think it’s ‘bout us,
But it’s not just about us,
Picture us performing with no one on the floor (no),
But it goes deeper than that,
Yes, much more deeper than that
There’s no one who loves you more.

VERSE 2 (Alexandrah)
When I was down they cheered me on
Now I’m grateful just to know them
Wherever I go, wherever we go
Positive excited types who would explain
To those who know the overall
But question details
Glad to have met a rep of imminent kin
Exponential reaches cause of field we’re in
First turned up in a group of few
Friends joined in next, newcomers too
Teamed on street and nearly broke the phones
Inundating radio
Applaud our gift
I’m so grateful that you did

VERSE 3 (Swamburger)
Thank you for your patient timing, I’m in debt to you forever. I appreciate your will to demonstrate the haps, biggin up the under-pup accumulating daps. Sharing piece of mind with you used to be a fright. Now I feel a bond between the song and the “RIGHT!”

(Alexandrah)
Thank you for your patient timing,
I’m in debt to you forever
Grateful to have with you grown
Every city really feels like a home
Live this truth so I hope it shows
Love you all it’s important to know
